God Has Given Me Courage! When I young, Adults would always come up to me
and ask "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
At first I wouldn't have the answer. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do.
But after thinking about this for a great amount of time, I decided I wanted to be a
missionary to Africa. Every time I would say this, I would get a few laughs and "thats a
nice thought" looks. I felt that everyone around me knew it wasn't real. That it was just
one of my fantasies. After years of thinking and praying, I still felt this great call to
Africa. My favorite Bible verse is "Matthew 28:19...Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit." God has made a great difference in my life the past couple of years. Before, going to Africa was always a fantasy. But now, what I felt as a calling and as a career is becoming reality. I will be going to Africa to be working with a Christian organization and working in the poorest part of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I only pray that God continues to work on my heart and body. bravenet.com
